Logo design and visual identity for Castellum - Equity Partners, a Milan based venture capital & private equity firm established in 2024, whose purpose is to acquire and grow high-potential Italian companies. “Castellum” is a latin word which indicates the central castle of a fortified city. It was intentionally chosen to evoke a sense of strength, ambition and safety.

By adding three small squares to the two letters L, a tower is immediately formed.
Furthermore, the blocky graphics used in the visual identity (which give a three-dimensional feel) are intended to be a metaphor of investment as a building block to forge something bigger.
